Protein bites are ridiculously good. There are unlimited options with these bites, as long as you keep the base!
So here we go,
1 Cup of Oats (My go to, Bob’s Red Mill Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter (I reach for Peanut Butter and Co. Smooth Operator…because TRY IT)
1/3 Cup Honey (Honey House Honey Bears Pure All Natural Honey! Delicious)
1 Cup Coconut Flakes (I am partial to whatever is on the shelf, I know no loyalty when it comes to Coconut Flakes)
1/2 Cup Ground Flax Seed (Again, I know no loyalty)
2 Scoops of Silver Star Nutrition Natural Whey Protein (You don’t need a flavor seriously, you’re adding the flavor.)
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds (You don’t need to add these, but why not, they are good for you, you won’t taste them, then you can tell all your friends you added them.)
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla (The ball is in your court here)
Now is the real fun part…you can add what you want! My favorite is mini butterscotch chips. The picture is from when we added craisins and white chocolate chips. Mini m&m’s would be a good idea, other dried fruit, really however healthy or not healthy you want them to be.
Combine all ingredients, roll into balls, put them in the fridge to chill, then devour them…I mean eat them.
